The largest city in Sri Lanka in terms of population is Colombo, which serves as the country's capital. It is a stunning city with a magnificent harborfront that is situated on the west coast and is surrounded by white sand beaches.
What to Expect
We will first visit the Gangaramaya Buddhist Temple, which has beautiful sculptures throughout, followed by the Independence Memorial Hall and the National Museum of Colombo. Following lunch, we will visit the Lotus Tower, one of the most unique constructions in Colombo, for a explicit view of the city. To wind up the day we will visit the Jami Ul-Alfar Mosque called as the Red mosque to explore the beautifull sculptures and architecture made by the south indian traders who came to ancient Ceylon
